Extreme Corruption Combated by Extreme Cold

Regarding the latest environmental disasters that have recently occurred in West Virginia and North Carolina, coupled with one of the worst winter storms in history which barreled its way through the Northeastern part of our country; I'd say the extreme weather is right on time.

Granted, I'm fully aware that extreme weather can cause many problems with traffic and power outages however, because our streams and rivers have been contaminated with death baring chemicals and coal which the federal government is currently looking into as a crime; the extreme cold can fight off any diseases/infections that could arise as a result of these historical and catastrophic pollutions.

Furthermore, because the water supply has been contaminated in WV and NC, to the point of school closings and civilians requiring medical assistance, the freshly fallen snow could be used as drinking and bathing water as it is purer than the contaminated water.

My how the creator of all does his job.

The 47 Percent That Voted for Mitt Romney

Remember when Mitt Romney ran for president in 2012, how he constantly spoke of the mysterious 47 percent of Americans that didn't pay taxes and was dependent upon government?

Then during the actual election we all know that Mitt Romney lost, but what was shocking about his loss was that he received 47 percent of the vote, exactly what he presumed Obama would receive!

So is it fair to say then that everyone who voted for Mitt Romney, is dependent upon government?

And when you think about it, during Romney's presidential campaign when it was time to reveal tax reports -- he never did. Even when Americans pressured him to release them, he simply ignored the requests. Then along the way it was discovered that Romney in fact dodges tax season, obviously because he'd rather not pay.

Then there's corporate welfare which is a government support or subsidy for private businesses, such as by tax incentives which the GOP absolutely love!

Tax breaks and tax loopholes is their name of the game. So again, regarding Romney's 47 percent are freeloaders comment; it's obvious that 47 percent don't pay taxes but it's also obvious that 47 percent do receive tax incentives -- in which real American taxpayers haven't a clue of what it feels like to fall under the Bush tax cut bracket. Maybe one day we will?

President Obama Played the Race Card?

In a recent New Yorker article President Obama shared his personal feelings about his position stating, “There’s no doubt that there’s some folks who just really dislike me because they don’t like the idea of a black President,” Obama said. “There is a historic connection between some of the arguments that we have politically and the history of race in our country, and sometimes it’s hard to disentangle those issues.”

Former vice president hopeful Sarah Palin, decided to send the president a special message regarding his comments on MLK day that read

Happy MLK, Jr. Day!

"I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character." – Martin Luther King, Jr.

Mr. President, in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. and all who commit to ending any racial divide, no more playing the race card.

Do you think President Obama played the race card?

Absolutely not. The president was simply speaking from a historical perspective and if anyone knows the history of this country, then you'd know that the color of one's skin has always been a deciding factor of if you found a good job, if you found decent housing, if you found a good school and an overall better way of life.

And Obama was just stating what news correspondents and Americans already know, and have been saying for years. It's funny because there are people that actually think that the president made racism worse, but in actuality, his national status brought what was already lurking behind-the-scenes into the spotlight.

Who knew that all we had to do was elect a black president, in order to realize that the past is still the present.

For instance, if Obama was anti-gay he wouldn't have fought so hard for gay rights and as a result, Americans probably wouldn't have given it much thought. We'd probably have to wait to elect an out gay president and hypothetically speaking if we did, Americans would see just how vitriol others can be that are in opposition to gay rights.

But it's a good thing we didn't have to wait to elect a gay president to have these issues addressed, right? And now that we are addressing gay issues Americans can clearly see the hate that some house within their hearts, and those that use oppressive policies to keep gay issues at bay; same for minorities.

The race card? Ha! Please. It can't be the "race card" if it's true.

Yearn to Learn Elsewhere

In light of the state of Nevada ranking in last place again, regarding education it makes you wonder if the traditional way of learning should be restructured?

Why is it important to continuously learn?

Look at it this way, when you graduate elementary school do you not go to middle school? When you graduate middle school do you not go to high school? And when you graduate high school is college or trade school not to far off in thought? If after high school you decide to not continue higher education, do you just succumb to the complacency of your job? If you have a job you love and decide to settle in for the long haul, what else are you learning outside of your job?

My point?

When you stop learning you're left stagnant, at a stop sign, that doesn't permit you to go until you "learn" the next steps. If you drop out of elementary school your mind is at an elementary level, same for middle school and high school. Without knowledge it becomes difficult to navigate through the perils of life, you might as well be walking blind. Knowledge not only makes you aware it makes you valuable, in the sense that you may have something to offer the public that few can replicate so make sure to read books on how to make things, as America has lost its "made in America" status a long time ago.

Don't think that education only exists in schools and that you need a teacher to learn. Mentors are great if you can find one that genuinely has your best interests at heart, but self- teaching also goes a long way and allows you to discover things you might not have learned in the classroom. I'm a strong advocate for self-teaching and home schooling. Why hold yourself back if you don't have to?

Man's Genitalia x2?

As a matter of fact, that is exactly what the picture displays; a man's genitalia x2!

Yet another moment we get to discover the many "differences" within the world. Considering this is my first time witnessing something of this nature, I thought it'd be a good idea to share the news. Not on this site of course!

Texas Teen Kills Four "Affluenza" Protects Him

Should consequences be mandatory for parents whose poor parenting skills, is a direct reflection of their child's heinous crimes?

In the case of Ethan Couch a 16 year old with an already developing police record, who killed 4 people while drinking and driving and received no jail time but instead was given probation due to his "affluenza" -- immediately makes you wonder about his guardians.

The parents of Ethan Couch often left him unsupervised in a 4000 square foot home, where he frequently entertained friends with an open bar. Ethan's dad even gave him keys to a company car; the same vehicle used in the car crash that forever silenced the voices of four human beings while paralyzing one.

Because Ethan is an unsupervised minor who was encouraged to break the law; driving under age with full access to a liquor cabinet -- again, shouldn't the parents be held responsible as well?

How will all involved parties learn a lesson from the circumstance, if every time there's a circumstance -- everyone is given freedom over consequences? The child must learn indeed but the parents as well, since their poor parental skills is what helped to cause the situation. In order to cease this kind of destruction one must learn how not to do it again, and if not, society will have to keep enduring more unforeseen tragic moments.

Duck Dynasty's Phil Robertson Suspenion Lifted

Mr. Phil Robertson, where do I begin?

Initially, after reading your statement in its entirety and then realizing your place of residency, it was clear to me why you may lack the fundamental understanding of equality and civil rights; especially when you lived during the Jim Crow period, and felt that African Americans were "happy" because they sang and smiled. Where were you when mass lynchings took place, Mr. Robertson? Did you not read the newspaper?

Then again, if you were aware of the period and time due to mass protests of American citizens, fighting for civil rights and voting rights -- you know, those simple laws you already had access to; if you were in their shoes would it have been a "happy" time for you? And labeling yourself "white trash" doesn't mean your treatment was equivalent to the treatment of black people, just in case you were confused by the misguided rhetoric that you speak.

And now today, yet another revelation from the "Phil Robertson's files" shows you teaching young men to hand pick their wives by age -- and underage at that! Oh yea, as long as "you first have the parents permission."

The fact that young men are encouraged to marry 15 and 16 year old female children, all for the purposes of molding their young minds to fit a man's particular lifestyle screams misogyny! It's literally dictating to a child what they will be, without allowing them to figure it out for themselves. Is that fair?

Is this the same conservative message Republicans believe in Washington? Well you know, because Robertson is conservative and he believes in -- would you call it "legitimate rape" regarding female underage marriage? Oh yea, parents permission comes first, right?

Is this why women's rights are shot down unanimously by the GOP?

Which gives way to the very real "war on women" stance of the 21st century; rejecting of VAWA and trying to silence women for voicing their opinions. Just saying, Republicans seem to have a real big issue with women's rights.

And recently the A&E Network decided to lift Phil Robertson's suspension, obviously because the high ratings are just to profitable to do what's morally right. However, America has changed and is continuously changing, and it's changing towards the direction of progressiveness, tolerance, equality and love; and those that keep wishing for the status quo, you'll either become non-existent or join what you can't beat.

Get it while you can A&E; welcome back Mr. Robertson.

Theresa Caputo Channeling Historical Figures?

Have you ever heard of the psychic medium Theresa Caputo?

She has her own show called the "Long Island Medium" and it airs on TLC. This show will make you a believer if you're a skeptic, and if it doesn't I suggest meeting her to confirm your suspicions. I highly admire the work that she does, and at a time in our society when hate and violence seems to consume our television sets and physical lives -- Theresa is a breath of fresh air with a constant reminder that God does exist and gives reassurance that our loved ones will always be with us.

Wouldn't it be cool if Theresa could channel great historical leaders?

You know like JFK, Abraham Lincoln, Ida B. Wells, Harriet Tubman, Lyndon B. Johnson, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Malcolm X and even Nelson Mandela! It would be amazing if she did an episode meeting the families of great leaders that have past over, as a way of retrieving continuous guidance for our present and future leaders but also for "us" the people.
